Want to show your bride something trendy and unique that is the ultimate wedding personalization?  Show your bride a veil with color!

Color is an often overlooked element of a bridal outfit, but we’re ALL about it here at Sara Gabriel. I wore a blue wedding dress with a blue+purple veil for my own wedding because these are the colors of my soul. This is NOT a shocker for those of you who know me. I fit into the second group below 😉

In this article, I will show you how to use colorful veils to help create meaning for your brides. Let’s dive in!

Celebrate Her Relationships

How special is this look created for bride Ashley. Notice how her hand-dyed Constance veil gently echoes her mother’s plum dress. What a gorgeous way to honor the connection between mother and daughter. 🥹

Color is a memorable way for your bride to express her bond with the most important person/people in her life. Next time you can sense a special connection between your bride and her mom (or sister or BFF), ask that person if they know what color they will be wearing yet. Pull out one of your colorful veils (Yes! We do custom color-matching!) and watch the happy tears roll!

Echo Her Color Story

Do you have a bride who is obsessed with her wedding colors? She wants everything from her florals to her thank you notes to perfectly express the joy she and her partner feel about their upcoming lives together.

Imagine how excited she will be to learn that her color palette can be reflected in the fabric of her veil!

Our brand new June veil features exclusive ink-on-tulle prints carefully curated to capture next year’s “it” colors. The next time you work with a bride with a swoon-worthy color story, pull out a colorful veil and watch her beam with excitement as she starts to picture the possibilities. 😃

Show Love For Her Partner

Can you visualize your bride’s reaction when you suggest that she incorporate green into her veil because she mentioned in passing that it is the color of her partner’s eyes? Or suggest a subtle nod to their love-is-love union with our whimsical Taylor veil?

This kind of bridal styling gives me goosebumps every.single.time. Helping a bride create meaning with what she chooses to wear on her wedding day has always been one of the great joys of my career!

There are many creative ways to use color to make the veil a meaningful part of your bride’s look. Let your creativity shine, and remember that your bride might LOVE a colorful veil but won’t know until you show her how meaningful it can be. So, pull one out at your next appointment and ask her what she thinks.

Happy Styling!
